This is our 2 nd GE Monogram range. We love the durability and performance of the dual fuel stove. The aesthetic beauty is an added bonus. I researched every high end brand and even consulted an appliance repair person for his insights. Hands down the GE Monogram range is a winner and made in the US.

The Ultimate Kitchen Tool

I've had this range now for a couple weeks so I still haven't had a full run with it; however, from what I can see, I love how powerful the burners on. The flames ignite quick and looks like a lot of BTUs are kicking. The infrared grill is something i've used 3-4 times now. You have to preheat it longer than you think but have grilled weekday burgers, pork chops and brats and they've turned out fantastic. I've only used the stainless steel griddle to toast burger buns and tortillas and it worked really well. The app was really hard to log into. The reason i'm not giving this a 5 star rating is due to the connectability to the app. I tried for a couple hours. Even had to pull out my travel router to access 2.5ghz signal since my Google Nest doesn't give you the option to select 2.5 or 5 ghz. But once it connected, it worked like a charm.

Gorgeous range design and look. But the tech broach control panel is so far is filled with tech bugs. This is the ™€œThird!™€ brand new screen this stove is about to be supplied with. Not looking forward to the rest of its life span. Extremely disappointed because I chose this range and it has made a fool of me. You go to the top and you drop abruptly to the bottom. Not only does the control screen not work technically but also physically. What a nightmare. Even if the appliance technician fixes the problem on the third shot, I am now left with ownership trauma but with an opaque future. The reality is that if the screen malfunctions you cannot use the ovens. The burners will work but not completely, so if the techy part fails your out of luck, poor design for the user. Fix it or get a new day job ™€œMONOGRAM™€

Broken out of the box

Recently installed 48 inch dual fuel range has never been used and display is stuck in the out position. We have not moved in to our new house yet and have experienced this issue. Customer service has been fabulous but the appliance repairman who is here today lacks the knowledge to even disassemble the range. I hope I did not make a huge mistake purchasing the monogram suite of appliances. Just discovered the newly installed freezer column is producing ice cubes any longer. Produced 1 batch and then quit working.

Problems with the appliance since day 1!! Ovens failing within 4 years & GE doesn™€™t want to work with the consumer. Their previous response from the review saying that GE Monogram is working with me was more like they™€™re just communicating with me. $1100 for this repair on a newer Monogram unit is absurd! I™€™ve had service out 3 times so far for this problem alone. GE has waived one service fee. The cost of these units shouldn™€™t have this many repairs!! Besides this, poor design on the grill. No drip pan so the drippings just fall down into the unit. Pretty disappointed in this purchase of a Monogram appliance & the actual help (lack of) with GE!!

Elegant Looks, Amazing performance

I generally do not leave product reviews unless I have an exceptional like or dislike of a product. I have had this range for a short time, so I cannot speak to the long term reliability of the product, however it seems extremely sturdy and well constructed. I'll leave this review with Pro's/Con's and (hopefully) constructive criticisms. PROS: - This range is beautiful. It's as much a work of art as it is a stove. - The adjustable accent lighting is an additional unexpected touch to add flair to a kitchen - The performance of the 4 burners is spot on. I had to convert my range to Liquid Propane, which typically reduces the output of the burners, however these burners are an absolute joy to cook on! - The ovens are roomy, well insulated, pre-heat quickly and hold temperature perfectly. Additionally - and I have not needed to use this feature on my range - GE included a mechanism to true up the oven temperature if the thermostat is slightly off. Meaning if you put an oven thermometer in it and it reads 340, when set to 350, you can program it to adjust the temperature up by 10 degrees automatically. - The oven roller racks, are luxurious and make moving even the heaviest items in/out a breeze - The soft close oven doors are a nice touch CONS: - The Grill and Griddle take a long time to preheat, probably to be expected but I was slightly surprised at how long it can take. I find on my range for best performance the Grill/griddle should pre-heat for about 10 -15 minutes. - The ignitor for the grill is a ceramic style glow plug, which has to come up to temperature and draw significant amperage to allow the aperture to open the gas flow, which in turn ignites the grill. There is nothing wrong with the design - and I only know how it works because, mine arrived broken from shipping - which the GE repair person said was not uncommon. Considering the delicate nature of this part, GE should consider better packaging for it to protect it during shipping. - The roller racks in the over - while incredible - do introduce "Height" issues. There is not much height space between the racks due to the support framework. So if cooking a large roast or Turkey, or using a Dutch oven you either need to have 2 racks on top of each other, with the remaining very close to the top, or remove the middle rack entirely (Depending on the size). This is marginal impact, since this is a commercial size oven and you can fit a huge roasting pan front to back, rather than side to side, so space on the rack next to the roasting pan or Dutch oven is still available - However having an optional non-roller rack that does not require the support framework to increase oven space in these scenarios would be desirable. - The smart functions and capabilities in connectivity to the phone have limitations I hope are addressed in future software releases. For instance, I can set a cook time, preheat the oven etc. all from my phone. But If I set the "Kitchen Timer" instead of the "Cook Timer - it won't alert to my phone or allow me to adjust it or even see the time remaining. This would be useful when having multiple items that have to cook or be addressed at different times. Ultimately all smartphones have timers that are usable, so it's not actually a negative, but it would be nice if all features of the stove reported to the phone app. - One final "Nit Picking" item I will address is that the Vent for the oven arrived with 2 very large stickers on it which specifically say "Installer Do not remove, to be removed by customer before first use". That's it. No other details or reasons for the sticker to be there (Although I'm sure some engineer somewhere has a reason). HOWEVER GE: When removing these stickers, they do not peel off well and leave behind a ton of glue residue and paper backing, which left me as the consumer to get a product (I used goof off) to remove that safely, without the need for a scraper of some kind! If these stickers are serving some purpose, you should consider upgrading these to a "Cling" that is easier to remove without leaving a residue.

A 4 star review only because we haven't had it very long. But it offers a ton of flexibility and you'll find yourself cooking more at home. The griddle is so easy to use and the gas burners are so much nicer than electric. The feedback on the touch panel could be quicker.

Outstanding range but improvements still needed

I have used this range for a few weeks now and have enjoyed using it. The two things I would like to see improved is 1) the stainless steel top on the grill looks great but just after some kitchen use is showing scratches...for a kitchen appliance of that price, I was disappointed. I have ordered silicone mats to see if that works. 2) The iphone app needs to be updated to be more user intuitive and up to today's standards...i.e. using the temp accessory should have a better interface.

Really upset with the range of this point. Second service call. First service call - front burner turns on but does not spark. Technician could not fix because it™€™s a known wiring issue and has to have two service men becaus erange is so heavy that we need two people to pull it out . I have had my range for two and i have used it less than 5 times. Second service call this morning when I realized that two of my other burners seem to turn on gas but do not ignite and do not light up. Since I don™€™t use it much I wasn™€™t aware of the issue. Definitely over it. Get a wolf

I enjoy every feature. This unit is the best i have had to date in any of my homes. The only thing i don't like is the trim piece between the griddle- grill and burners is not easily removed for cleaning. It should be a clip system or something. Currently I put tinfoil over the metal when grilling or using the griddle

I have had this range since July of 2020. The smart features of this range are far from smart. In the few months of ownership I have been plagued with issues. A software download for the range failed and left my entire range useless. Cooktop did not fire up, oven was not usable. It was a solid month before I had a solve for that. Another recent software update has rendered my front right burner useless, also known as the smart burner ™€œtrue temp™€. To be determined on when I will have a solve for that. It™€™s really stunning by looks however to have this many issues with it is not acceptable.

I've been dreaming about owning this range for several decades ... finally did it! Love the features: large gas oven is perfect for cooking bread and pizza, and easily handles multiple trays of our favorite foods. Gas heats quickly and is less expensive to run that electric, so perfect for us since we cook a lot! The personal size oven is great for smaller trays and ideal during the week when we cook just for the 2 of us. Haven't used the grill feature yet, but the griddle is just the right size for pancakes and French toast. The exterior is beautiful and adds glam to our new kitchen.
